THE INFLUENCE OF ENTREPRENEURIAL PASSION AND CREATIVITY ON ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTIONS

ABSTRACT Purpose: This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial passion and creativity on intent. It also examines mediating role self-efficacy between personal/cognitive variable intention. Originality/value: By stressing importance cognitive emotional variables that may intentions among university students (such as passion), this shows important universities have in development According Social Cognitive Theory (SCT), environment influences individual behavior and, therefore, should encourage an environment, enabling creation new jobs companies. Design/methodology/approach: Data were collected through a survey with business technology from Brazilian university. In total, 338 valid responses obtained, which analyzed structural equation modeling. The data cross-sectional manner by stratified non-probability sampling method. To address research hypothesis attain objectives study, all constructs adapted relevant literature field entrepreneurship. model was examined relation fit, enabled be tested. Findings: Results showed both direct indirect positive relationship Regarding factor, results indicated only effect intention, being mediated self-efficacy. No significant differences found regarding age, gender, graduation program, family background, models or income.
